I used to take cold water baths and stay in the water while doing certain breathing techniques as in slow deep connected breaths. I did this with a support person present who was also a breath coach. When I couldn’t stay any longer because I was too cold I would get out of the tub and lay down wrapped in warm blankets until I was warm again. This would bring about heightened consciousness and personal revelations. Definitely an awakening. Supportive of circulation and deep sleep also.
